9:45 in the uk we call the bottom floor of a house/building the ground floor and then number the floors up from that, so this rant seemed weird to me lmao I’m assuming other commonwealth countries do similar. whenever I’m in a building over here and the lifts are numbered in an American way it throws me for a second because I forget which floor I can leave on. my university had lifts labelled both ways and it was a toss up as to which you’d get, so that was fun.

The granny game used to look like what it says on the app store and it was lowkey fun, like still a bit glitchy but definitely not as glitchy as now. You still had to steal shit from grandma (i distinctly remember having to steal ketchup from her) but you also had to like break into her house and climb on her roof and stuff. I beat it twice and then like after a year when i went back and wanted to redownload it, it had changed. Rip og bad granny 😔

the first floor as the second floor thing is just something we have in the uk. usually the actual first floor is called the ground floor rather than the main

A lot of countries outside America call the “first floor” the main floor or ground floor. Then the call the “second floor” the first floor. It’s just an American thing to call the bottom floor the first floor. And I wouldn’t be surprised if that granny game was made in a different country

Wow, these comments really make me think Cody and Noel delete comments criticizing BH. I feel like there’s a ton of overlap between their community and Danny’s and I never see any criticisms in their comment sections when they do sponsorships with them. Glad Danny seems to be letting people speak freely about their concerns with this.

First off, great video. Super funny. Really would love a part 2!

But now on to the thing everyone is talking about. And I will take it in a slightly different direction, but yes this opinion is essentially more of the same.

I couldn’t help but feel weird about the BetterHelp ad. Yes, they have had serious controversies that have made me doubt their intentions and whether or not they’re qualified to do what they do. But also, Danny is equating his experience with therapy to BetterHelp, despite not using their service. To me, he seems to be saying “Therapy was great for me, therefore BetterHelp will be good for you,” but he didn’t seek therapy through BetterHelp. He has no experience with them as a customer. But he portrays the ad like his experience with therapy could be achieved through BetterHelp, and that he has confidence in it, without actually knowing if that’s the case. Idk. I just feel like he should’ve made it clear that he sought therapy outside of BetterHelp but that he trusts them to be effective and explain why he is so confident in them.

Also, this changes nothing for me. I still have a great respect for Danny as a person and an entertainer. I still love him in a fan/entertainer sort of way. This has not made me like him less, respect him less, or turn me away from his videos. I will still watch religiously. I’m still a proud Greg. And I definitely don’t think he was doing anything shady or with mal intent. Just wanted my two cents out there

That fake boyfriend one is 100% trying to phish info from presumably young children. At best its tracking random but incredibly personal info (which the app description recommends) but at worst I could see this asking about locational information and could be used for human traffic*ing. Really hope the only person who has downloaded that app was Danny, and that he deleted it after this video. Update: the premium guy asking where you lived made me physically uneasy. I hate that this app exists
