Gonna point out that which floor the “first floor” refers to is different between countries. In some it is the bottom floor of the building, in some it is the ground floor, and in some (including mine) it is the first floor that is above ground level. It tells you how many flights of stairs you have to climb to get to the floor in question, and to me it seems intuitive to have ground floor be the “zeroth” floor because you don’t have to climb. Similarly, negative floor numbers if they are below ground. It has its issues (if you have floors that are partially sunken into the ground they are called upper and lower ground floors) but it’s not all bad, especially for figuring out if you will get natural light at your destination. Also, a better help sponsorship? :/

9:55 , I’m guessing whoever made the game must be European , here we call the “first floor” earth floor , main floor , dirt floor ( it will change based on the language ) and the floor after it the 2nd floor .

Calling the floor above the ground floor the “first floor” is common in most English speaking countries other than the US.

Due to influence from the US it seems to be getting less common and at my University about half the elevators use the G-1-2-3 numbering and the other half use the 1-2-3-4 numbering

As far as I know, there’s no city named “Lake Champlain” (and the actual lake is not in Maine either, but makes up part of the the border between Quebec and the US states of Vermont and New York). I think people really misunderstand how content creators get sponsorships. Danny most likely has a manager that gets him the sponsors and is supposed to vet them. While ideally a YouTuber would be able to research all of the sponsors they take, it’s just not really feasible, hence why they have someone to do it for them. I really wouldn’t put all of this on Danny when he more than likely hasn’t heard about any of BetterHelp’s controversies and just trusted his team to give him good sponsors. That being said, he probably should say something about it.
