Having a main floor/ground floor followed by the “first floor” is something they do in Germany and it drives me crazy.

Only in America the floors are counted that way so if the people who made it aren’t American then that is why they say main floor or ground floor and first floor

I’d just like to add, calling the first floor the ground floor, and second one the first floor, is normal in a lot of places, including my country.
So it may sound a bit goofy, but there’s not necessarily anything wrong there.

about the first and second floor thing, in Germany we actually call the first floor the “Erdgeschoss” (which you could kinda translate as main floor) and we call the second floor the first and the third the second and so on. Pretty stupid.
The developer of the game is probably from Germany then.
