The “1st floor” misunderstanding is because from what I know, most countries count the first floor above the “ground floor” the first floor. I’ve only ever seen Americans referring to the ground floor “first floor”

What is the first floor everywhere in the world is actually the second floor in the British world and whatever cucks they colonized! Second basement is -2, basement is -1, ground floor is 0, first floor is 1. Second floor is 2. Makes sense.

I lived in London for three months and over there they called the first floor the ground floor and second floor the first floor, so it’s probably a Europe or UK or Britain thing. I think it’s super weird but the idea is first floor off the ground I’m pretty sure
