I am going to buy one In-shah-Allah 😇
Thank you
Got mine s few days ago and it works really good – but a tip; try to not touch the screen so much, the fingerprints are very visible and can basically only be taken away with a kind of special cloth
Sounds too much like a paid sales pitch
All I know is that if you’re planning to pay more for 16gb ram in air just for ‘future proofing’ then spend the extra bucks on better battery, screen, charger, speakers, processor and touchbar instead of better RAM which you will never use
I just ordered a 8gb RAM, 512gb SSD 13” MBP lol. Got it for $200 off MSRP. I had to go pro with the sale right now.
This MacBook Pro will likely be the one and only Apple silicon Mac that has Touch Bar and scissor keyboard, a weird combo for sure, but I am into it. For someone who still want to use Touch Bar, this is the only machine that you can buy.
According to this laptop repair video https://youtu.be/UJIfJ30Qlf8 ; I would strongly recommend to avoid MBP M1. The reason is the fan cooling air intake is bring in all the dust that will eventually short circuit your SSD power supply circuit.
The repair guru recommend that you open up your MBP M1 and clean to air intake area regularly to avoid a failure 😩
The trade-off between the two is the raw gaming performance, while the pro is definitely no gaming laptop with no discrete GPU, as mentioned, it is considerably better then the MacBook air for gaming. So if you are planning to play that occasional game of rocket league, or Minecraft, the pro is definitely worth the extra money so for me, it ever so slightly edges the air, which contains little to no gaming performance, due to the fan-less design. However, it still has better value and is better for most people.
I personally love my MacBook Pro 13″ M1. I am not a programmer and don’t use my machine for film editing (just yet). I use my laptop for editing my works in progress (I’m an aspiring writer) and helping to organize my day to day life. I’ve run into no problems and I am enjoying my purchase six months later. I upgraded from the Intel version of the same computer. You can tell the difference in how fast the apps work and it worked well with the amount of writing I have. For the average user who is not into tech, this is the perfect computer for you.
M1 is giving sonic booms!!! 🤯. Waiting for M1X
I might be one of the rare ones but I actually bought this one because I learned they were ditching the Touch Bar. It’s just so a cool piece of tech.
Sales are coming on the M1 Macbook Pro: 150 off, maybe more as long as stock exists. I think the 8gb/256 will be the best value out there for the end of 2021. Costco will offer it at 1099. Hard to beat that value.
@maxtech, I had this question I’m trying to get an answer for.. Does MBP pose any advantages over MBA for future macos versions and performance capabilities because of having a dedicated fan?
When I was working on editing a photo using a Adobe Lightroom, I encounter with my 13″ M1 macbook pro running out of application memory. I had to close other applications running in the background to continue working with my editing. Does this mean that my RAM is insufficient?
9:28 – Your opinion is obscenely poor and it’s one that can’t be agreed with at all. Screw that noise.
Just watched his and multiple other youtubers video on the new MacBook Pro 14 and how it’s the best and how the MacBook Pro 13 M1 is a piece of shit and completely useless machine. This thing makes me angry how these youtubers will say any crap, just to get views. I mean, seriously I was trying to figure out if investing $1000 more is worth or not, I watched their videos of the new 14inch vs 13inch M1 and how incredible the 14 is. Now, I watched this where all these youtubers are like the M1 13inch is wohooo!. Obviously the 14inch has to be better than the previous years 13inch, but what makes you say that the previous years 13inch M1 is shit? Weren’t you making videos whole year of how a beast it is? These guys can’t stick to their words.
It’s so funny how MBP M1 users came here, to the comments section, to assert making the right choice, just when the video tells the opposite 😂 Lol
This video makes no sense.. you can buy the MacBook Pro 13” with a 512gb SSD for $1,249.00 at Costco and the air with a 512ssd is 1,099.00. So for an extra $150.00 u get a brighter screen, bigger track pad, longer lasting battery and better performance under load than the air… just makes no sense to buy the air…
