Your channel helped me to make the right choice! Thanks.
Why people dislike this video?
for photo and video editing, at what point would you say that having the fan with the pro is the better choice over the fanless air? i mean from the overheating perspective. thank you
as time goes by, more and more m1 optimized apps appears that can utilize there cpu power, the different between pro and air will appear.
Being an all-time Windows laptop, I finally made the jump to MacOS and purchased an M1 MBP. I can say that I love the 15hr battery life, very useful touchbar, power to edit 4K videos, speakers, and premium build quality. The machine is incredibly worth it, and I would pay the extra $200/300 just for the battery life alone. The fan and touchbar are icing on the cake. And trust me, the fan comes in very handy. I’d rather open it up after 3yrs to clean the fan versus having a fanless design and have the heat radiate on my lap.
Question for you .On the m1 laptops and mac mini if something go bad with the memory or the ssd that means a new logic board?
Wait wait wait wait, 8 HOURS? How long do you think gaming could last on the MacBook Air/Pro on one charge?
6h?
Love my Air 👍
Guys. I am tied between MBP and MBA. Does extra brightness on the MBP make any difference in real world use ? or MBA is more then enough. Casual on-the-go user here.
sorry if he said this, but was he testing the 8gb or 16gb version?
Corrected tittle: Why you shouldn’t regret for buying the M1 MBP 2020.
Now imagine what the battery life could be like if Apple were to make the MacBooks slightly thicker for larger batteries!
Hey Max,
Any idea on the power consumption of Mac Mini M1…
I find the extra batter life, brighter screen, Touch Bar and thermal advantage makes it worth it already.
I honestly don’t get why people are using the Macbooks with the Mac Mini being available. You’d think working on a large HD display would be preferred to a small screen.
It’s not worst but the m1 air clicks every boxes
It seems you would still want a fan for game development. If you’re a game tester like me and you need play test a game on it all day, eventually it is going to get hot. So I still think I should go with the Pro. And it’s not just about long sustained performance, fans can also help with the life of the product, especially when gaming.
If the only difference between the pro and air is the fan then the only time you’ll be able to tell the difference is during tasks that really heat the computer and need the fan. None of these comparisons are stressful enough to differentiate the two.
I just switched from my XPS 13 to the M1 MB Pro and I actually really like the touch bar. I really don’t get the hate on it. I can make it do or show what I want and its been pretty useful…
