Hi Dave, out of context. 4 5 years ago, smart glasses were to be the future. It’s 2022, we dont hear people talk about them anymore. Your thoughts on that?

I’m hoping what’s going to happen is two A16 chips. A regular A16 chip for the regular iPhone 14 and 14 Max, and a A16 Pro chip for the pro models. Apple will probably get more clout if they use the A15 with 5-cores and rename it to A16 to avoid people thinking its a year old. Apple is smart and deliberate. 100% agree!

I never minded the notch, but now that I’ve seen the punchhole I really admire the notch. It’s elegant.

I feel like Apple needs to get rid of the 4 phone lineup. I mean using old parts for a “brand new” flagship is a bit redundant. The pro models should be the only two phones they sell along side the SE and a mini. This would allow them to drop the weird naming scheme they’ve had going for a few years now with the iPhone (number) Pro Max, they can just call it what they call the non pro models

The real question is whether it matters if you have a notch or not. The overall experience with the platform is more important to the average person. Tons of people simply choose what’s affordable not the screen size.

The camera and chip upgrade seems like they’d be worth a lot to people tbh. Like the camera and the ability to play games better are huge factors for regular customers—all of the phones are kind of the same beyond this.
