The hole punch goes even LOWER than the notch does. That does the opposite of add more screen real estate. Plus, if they’re still not gonna allow us to see the battery percentage in the top right, shrinking the notch is pointless. That’s what I miss most about pre-notch iPhones.

Meh, I’ll stick with old design. iPhone 8 plus is enough and beautiful for me. That is one ugly phone, not to mention EXPENSIVE.

My girlfriend loves Apple, but even she gets annoyed of her 12 when she sees all the sleeker/cheaper Android’s in Taiwan.

Looking at the 14 just feels like looking back in time when you compare it beside a half priced Xiaomi 12x, for example.

couldn’t care less because there’s an embargo in place in my country on importing any phone that costs upwards of 300 dollars

I love my Apple phones but I am upgrading every 3 years, not every year as the improvements are incremental. Last new one I bought was the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Still working great with the original battery. It had 5g so there was something I wanted. I don’t believe Apples marketing team have a line that they won’t cross at this point. They will earn their money at launch selling new phones with old processors. Most consumers won’t be able to tell the difference though!
