Punch holes are the most stupid thing since they are always (well, usually) located even lower on the screen than the actual notch, so, What’s the point?.

As usual, Apple won’t be concentrating on specs but the whole experience. The 13 Pro Max is just such an amazing all-round phone, I can’t criticise it in any way, but I bet the 14 will somehow raise the game even more. The old processor – who cares? Just a handful of people. It’s easy powerful enough.

Now all the other phone companies have seen Apple open the door for them. I wouldn’t be surprised if by next year non “pro” or “ultra” phones coming with year old parts. Samsung already did it by having it’s $1000 s22+ with a 1080p screen🤦🏾‍♂️😭

This is obviously just my impressions, but I feel like the current way the iPhone lineup is seen is that you have the iPhone, which is a high end, premium phone. And then you have the iPhone Pro which is where Apple goes “the extra mile” to add for additional features for those who “really want them.”

What Apple needs to do is to make it feel like the iPhone 14 took one step forward and the iPhone 14 Pro took 2 steps forward instead of making it feel like the iPhone 14 was held back and has no improvements while the iPhone 14 Pro took the yearly single step forward.

I’m not a huge fan of punch-hole cameras, but can I nevertheless mention that it’s amusing that instead of making a single large slit, Apple made it such that if you hold the phone horizontally, it basically looks like an ‘i”?

I don’t mind holding onto an iPhone 11 till 2025, with a freshly changed battery.
On one hand it’s a testimony of how long iPhones lasts (compared to competitors)
On the other it’s also because new iPhones aren’t exciting anymore.

Hi Dave. I am such a big fan of your tech youtube since 2016. I really enjoyed watching your honest opinions on tech products. And I feel bad watching your hair loss especially on foreheads in last couple years. It seems like your hairline steps backward even more in recent uploads. Would you consider taking hair loss medications? I am also taking one and it is making some progress(they don’t cure bald hair but just helps to reserve the remaining hairs).. I really apologize to bring private issue in comment, it’s just an empathy from another baldy asian dude. Hope you read this and get treated before too late..
