Still using a XR, since 2018. It’s holding up good enough that I’m keeping it until usb-c comes to iPhones. Though it has started to chug a bit, also the cameras are noticeably worse than my friends’ newer phones- specifically zoom sucks

I’ve always understood the “max” moniker to be the ‘most advanced iPhone’ as far as spec and not necessarily the size of the display like the M1 Max isn’t about the size of the die. So I’d imagine the larger standard 14 would go back to the “Plus” modifier.

I think the only thing I REALLY like about this upcoming lineup is they are going to be selling a 14 Max version that is the same size as the 14 Pro Max. I’ve always needed to get the biggest size for my hands but always thought it was overkill. Now, you don’t have to pay as much for the same size.

another pass for me, shame for Apple. I don’t care if they want to make their pro more pro and sell it. My problem is they start cutting a lot a regular and normal iphone. In the past clean iphone was real flagship and the pro for enthusiasts. Now to make the diffrence big they cut the clean iphone too much and make you to llook like you do not have a flagship device anymore and you should go for the pro model. I mean, come on how you won’t put at least 90Hrz on the clean model..and won’t try to get rid of the notch and put usb c and other minor stuff.. these features are part of mid range androids for years…and I need to pay so much money to get 120hrz. Real shame..and now same design and chip and bigger price for what? Just go for 13th on sale and wait for better days in the future… Apple won’t deliver anything worthy for another year.
