I also cannot miss the fact that every single of you reviewers got salty when lower iPhones got the same chip as the big ones “oh this is useless”. Why now is that an issue when Apple will differentiate, blows my mind. They should’ve done that in the first place when they started with X. Anyways, RIP USB-C on iPhone this year too 😕

They can do well they have the power and the knowledge. It’s just that they’re running out of ideas and when they make a big change, what will they do next?

They could do it like the apple watches. There is a series 7 and an SE, but no series 6 or 5. Instead they have a series 3. This is probably because series 4, 5 or 6 weren’t significant upgrades. They could shut down 13 but keep 12.

4K is already way overrated for media consumption. 8K is pure nonsense. 1080p and optional HDR is more than sharp enough for our eyes on either small phone screens or almost all TV’s in the average living room. There’s just no way you’re gonna be able to tell the difference between 2K and 4K on your TV unless you’re standing right in front of it. 4K requires a 120+ inch screen. 8K double that. Insane. It’s nothing but a waste of storage space, bandwidth and processing power.

I love my Apple phones but I am upgrading every 3 years, not every year as the improvements are incremental. Last new one I bought was the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Still working great with the original battery. It had 5g so there was something I wanted. I don’t believe Apples marketing team have a line that they won’t cross at this point. They will earn their money at launch selling new phones with old processors. Most consumers won’t be able to tell the difference though!
