Sorry but these rumors about the A15 are nonsense.
Apple LOVES flexing with their chips. So much so that they even put the A15 into the freakin’ SE. There is absolutely NO WAY that the iPhone 14 will use the A15 chip. And no, chip shortage or whatever is not a reason.
Apple will 100% use A16 on all iPhone 14 and just do different configs like on the A15 because production of these things is hard. Not every A16 is perfect. So they will deactivate some GPU cores or whatever again and use these “binned” chips on the iPhone 14 and 14 Max.

This 48MP rumor is also nonsense tho. There’s no way that Apple would do bullshit like all Android manufacturers by using (and advertising) 48MP but then output the same 12MP. And there’s also no way that Apple would do stuff like 48 + 12 + 12MP. either ALL cameras have 48MP or none.

Honestly, I feel like the regular 14 is gonna be a big disappointment to most people. Just based on leaks, $800~$900 still using 60hz displays and a 1 or maybe “half” a lower generation chipset with almost or just straight up identical design as the 13, I feel like 90% of people would just go for the 13. The 4 core gpu is already fine for most people since iphones are already so ahead of the competition. This “upgrade” is even less noticeable then an S series upgrade. But I’m a 13pro user so what do I know 🙂

I am here for the droid Salt mainly from the biggest majority of them consisting of broke jealous droids using a sub $100 scamsung phone that will make delusional outrageous claims devoid of any facts about how they own the latest scamsung $2000 phone and somehow make it seem like it performs better than a space shuttle when they will be the first to buy apple products as soon as they can afford them 🤣

Isn’t the chips shortage due to the lack of silicone wafers? Apple has no control over that. Of course it’s deliberate it’s deliberately saving them a lot of money on the lower end flagship by using chips they’ve already produced.

I kinda understand Apple’s business strategy now. Their older products become way outdated when a new product is launched. Does anyone think it was hard for them to do this punch hole and capsule sensor setup last year? They saved it for this year. When 11 was released, X became outdated with its dual camera setup. 11 became outaded when 12 came with squared off design and better camera. 12 became outaded when 13 came with even better camera & features, better display and revised design. Now 13 is going to be looking old when 14 comes without chunky notch.

So basically the 14 and 14 Max will be mostly the same as the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max? 🤷‍♂️
I guess with slight tweaks to the camera.
Why not just call it 13S and 13S Max instead?
