By “older chip” apple means a15. The a15 is currently the best chip in any phone so if they use it again it will still be better than any chip in an android device. The a15 also wouldn’t be any limiting factor in performance for something like an ar headset lol. The chip is so fast it will take years for it to start to feel slow

I thought that the iphone new notch was unique but it appears too lowly placed and not nice imo. Would have been better imo if it was a bit highly placed not to the bezel but close to it

I don’t think Apple will limit support for their AR Glasses to the latest model. It’ll severely reduce their customer base for them

At this point, why not just throw the m1 chip in the pro-model? They’ve put it in everything else, and it’s still an amazing chip.

I just dont buy the idea of the A15 in the iPhone 14. Maybe they will come out with a new name or something, to make it sound different from the last year cpu, cause no one will buy the 14/14max if it is more expensive than a 13/pro. Either they cut the prices down on the regular model (rare) or they somehow give a15 a push, and sell it as an a16 and the pro models with a a16 pro or some.

I think they might have an A16 for the standard iPhone 14 models, and something like an A16X or A16 Pro for the Pro models.
I’ll put it out there and say that Apple might even drop an M1 into the 14 Pro models. Just a guess, but a fun thought.
