Most ppl using iPhone and it’s pro variant would be just fine using a 200$ phone. But they still end up buying a costly phone that they don’t utilise completely.

I hope, I wish that the Mini continues. Apple can totally afford to keep updating that model. I would love a 14 Mini. I got the 12 Mini and I hopped onto the 13 Mini. 🙁

As someone that sells iPhones along other manufacturers, I can see why this would be a good move for Apple. Combining this theory with MKBHD with pricing ladders video, it adds another component which separates the two.

When a customer asked me “what’s the difference between the two?” I responded mostly with “better cameras, more storage, more RAM.”

Now I get to include “…the pro has a better processer” which to the commonfolk is going to be a bigger leverage factor that will probably make them steer towards that model.

Why doesn’t Apple just make a standalone camera? Idk about anyone else but i kinda wish they would simplify the camera hardware in the iPhones down to just one camera on the back. I can’t think of anyone who needs a full movie studio in their cell phone except for the people Apple hires to make an entire movie on an iPhone for marketing purposes. I can’t imagine professional photographers are buying phones for the cameras either because they already own professional grade equipment.
