The Mac Mini Pro is insane for production work. Just look at the footprint and energy consumption. AND you could actually game on it with a gaming display, FINALLY. Either way this looks amazing. Still full loaded its smaller than the Studio. So good for a sleek work station for photographers, music studios or video editors. So glad I waited the 4 months instead of going a macbook.

I just looked on the apple website and if you order the M2 Mac mini YOU ONLY GET TWO thunderbolt 4 ports!!!! It’s literally the same form factor as the M1 mini…. you don’t get the extra 2 thunderbolt ports until you step up to the M2 PRO…… please tell people about this!

Here in Sweden the difference is about 75 dollars, between them
But the M1 Max version costs 2800$ dollars not 2200$ like in the usa
And m2 Mac mini pro costs 2725$ dollars

Correction: The base Mac Studio comes with M1 MAX with 24 CORE GPU. Not the 32 GPU. Yes, it is still more but the delta between 19 and 24 is less now for comparison sake. Great video though!

256GB of internal storage in 2023? Also, 8GB of RAM in 2023. There is the reason for the initial $600 price rage. To get this at a useable level requires adding at least $360 to the price tag.

apple is clever, and they charge way too much to upgrade ram storage,
and it’s good decision to stick with base version if you don’t need that much power.
and base version are always value for money on apple atleast.

I’ve been stuck with one monitor on my M1 8gb Mini. Does the new M2 versions support dual monitors? Also which version would be your recommended path for LightRoom and Photoshop heavy work? The 8gb slows down tremendously after a little time making me restart the programs.
