iPhone SE 3 should have been based on the iPhone 8 Plus chassis because it needs a much bigger battery.

I am a current user of the SE 2020 (second version) and my uncle bought the third version for my brother and soon realized that this phone was not at its full potential. My brother still uses his iPhone 11. 🫤

Being an SE2 user, I really hope they don’t discontinue these. I don’t need the fancy edge-to-edge display, facial recognition, etc. The price is great and the phone is fast. I just wished it had a bigger battery…

i have an se3 and i absolutely love it. Its a great size, the “home button” is amazing, and all in all its one of my favorite phones. It performs extremely well, on par with my friends iphone 12 pro. (in our experience). BUUUUT you were right about the things you said, it should have been advertised more.

SE3 is considered obsolete design and materials but they slap in latest processor, slightly larger RAM and slightly bigger battery compared to previous gen SE
But SE3 designated for some people who preferred round home button, some old people who still uses home button instead of swipe up to home screen from apps and for those who needs an upgrade from previous gen iPhone with similar design (like iPhone 8, 7, 6s and 6).
I hope that Apple can released 2 variants of iPhone like iPhone SE Classic (4.7 inch IPS retina display similar to current iPhone SE 3, 2018mah battery, 4GB RAM and 128/256GB storage, new processor) and iPhone SE (5.4 inch IPS retina full screen display similar as current iPhone 12/13 mini but with downgrade screen to IPS retina display, 4GB RAM, 128/256GB storage, new processor).
Really hope that they can sell like RM2099 for 128GB variant and RM2599 for 256GB variant for iPhone SE classic (similar design as current iPhone SE 3) while iPhone SE (with similar design as iPhone 12/13 mini) can sell like RM2599 for 128GB variant and RM3099 for 256GB variant. Add like few hundred ringgit to get at least latest premium iPhone (eg: iPhone 14 series, iPhone 15 series, etc) with latest features that’s not available on basic iPhone SE such as better display, better camera, bigger GB of RAM and more storage option up to 512GB/1TB/2TB of storage.

The batery on this is a joke. I know what Apple products are and they want to make a clear gap between their best phones and this low cost phones but cmon, it looks like they are doing It on purpose ( and they are not that cheap either , you can buy a pixel phone with that price easily .) Looks legit like an 2015 phone. The idea is great and i hope Apple doesnt abandon the idea of making their phones accesible but honestly right now doesnt looks good enough

The sad thing is that the SE3 is (in my repair focused opinion) the only decent IPhone, the only anti consumer methods used is a serialized fingerprint scanner.
