I understand their target audience but a better camera, screen and battery would have been appreciated. The home button could stay bc their target audience are probably the older generation. If they were going to just upgrade the chip and keep everything else the same then it should have been more aggressively priced

The SE3 is a slight upgrade to SE2 with 5G but the price is just as expensive as buying a 12 mini. Normally carriers use this phone as the “freebie” to get new lines but even T-Mobile was only giving you like $300-400 off if you traded in a newer device.

I bet they set it up for failure on purpose so they had an excuse to discontinue it and only sell the overpriced main phone such at the iPhone 12 and 13

My dad just got one of these the other day when his 6s started boot looping, and he’s given it nothing but praise. It’s exactly the form factor he’s used to, has the best possible internals, and didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

For me the se 3 was a phone for who want a shity phone for his child or a easy phone for a old people but why bought the se3 when whe have a cheaper se2 or any other old iphone. For me this modele of phone need to upgrade every 2 years when people very need a new phone

Apple seriously thinks their customers are dumb and will buy anything they throw at them. Which for the most part is true. But even that has a limit. It’s 2022. They can’t just reuse a 2016/7 phone, swap out the processor and call it a day. At least they could’ve used 8 plus’ body. Then we would’ve had a bigger and more acceptable battery and display. Or better, just use the XR’s body. I don’t care if that makes the price go up. Just stop using that useless design. Either that or use an old chipset and make it cheaper. A person who wants to use this phone won’t need and also can’t use that kind of performance

Like just why? I physically don’t even understand Apple.

If they made the phone actually look good on the outside, the sales would have been much better.

Because nobody wants to show of a phone straight out of 2012.
