@6:55 what is that brightness comparison? 🤨 Please choose the same color/image for such a test…
Mid gray is much brighter than violet by nature. Green is the brightest base color by far, and gray has a lot in it, violet very few.

I would love the m2, but a lot of Native Instruments don’t work with it. That’s completely on NI, but damn. Would love an m2.

The 14 inch Pro battery life is definitely not better than the M2 air. All the tests suggest the opposite by a large margin? One of the main reasons I went for the m2 air over the 14

I picked up the Macbook Pro m1 because the “macbook pro” doesn’t throttle… Guess what? It STILL throttles.
When I’m editing video, in Premiere Pro, i need to have a fan blowing on it for it not to heat throttle.
And… It failed after 14 months… $800 repair “out of warranty”.
Wow.

The keyboard thing may be a deal breaker for me. But would anyone compare it to, I don’t know, the iPad Magic Keyboard? Because I’m typing on one right now (11 inch) and… I actually prefer that feel to my M1 MacBook Air.

Great review. The difference between a M2 16/512 MBA, and a base 14″ MBP is at least $150 though (even on sale), and usually more if purchasing at the same retail. What I see the M2 MBA doing is eating into the sales of the 13″ MBP.
