You’re claiming that you’re worried about the MacBook Airs price while creating baked in ads for $78 polo shirts and $54 t-shirts?

You can’t think think the laptops increased price is an issue for us if you think we as your audience can also buy those kinds of products.

9:00 thanks for that. This has been such an annoying topic recently that I’ve been avoiding any discussion about it. People have literally forgotten how the M1 Air also throttled in the same way. It’s even more annoying when you have big Tech personalities like Austin Evans say in one of his videos (the podcast with the big guy) that the M1 Air didn’t throttle as bad as the M2 does… getting this shit linked to you as “proof” has been the most annoying shit I ever came across.

I’m curious as to whether or not the 10-core gpu throttles more [or uses more battery] than the 8-core. Also wondering whether the upgrade is even worth it for light video editing.

There’s a little compression artifacting in places (more than is normal for YouTube (which is already bad)) throughout the video. Sadly, this isn’t on us. Our export looks great and utilized the same settings we always do. Video looked okay when I proofed it on YouTube but then as soon as I published it it’s been re-entering and exiting processing. I’ve reached out to YouTube to see if they can re-process the file on their backend. It may also just resolve itself. This might not be one for the big-screen TV. Sorry. Idk why YouTube is the way that it is.

Why does Apple make every computer make you go “Yeah, but”, like every time I consider a Mac, I have to remember that it’s a compromised machine in some capacity. And once you spec out past those compromises, lo and behold, there are Windows alternatives that are cheaper and as stylish as a Mac
