@5:04 are you sure you’re comparing it to M1 MacBook Air?? The keyboard layout is black, which is only on newer MacBook Pro models right?

Just want to mention regarding the Mag Safe you said that you didn’t like the angle of the bottom after looking at mine I realized that it might have been designed that way to release it if it is pulled on by accident so it doesn’t fall to the ground ~ BTW ~ My needs aren’t that professional that I need the Pro ~ I am very happy with my 512/10g ~ Yeah I know I could have gotten the Pro model but the Air M2 suits my needs much better ~ Great review I enjoyed it and will hit the like button ~

In Serbia the Macbook Air M2 is about $1700 with tax, the price difference is shocking. Most people just get it in Canada or the USA since most Europe countries have crazier pricing

I totally agree with your opinion on this, I am too cheap to buy either so I got a used M1 Mini that should be all I really need unless I start doing content on something like YouTube. I don’t need the portability of a laptop currently.

The Definitive Review? It certainly does not cover its abysmal performance when it comes to navigating your music library. It seems not too many people have one from the lack of comment. I have and it worked so smoothly and easily on my old MacBook Air which I bought in 2011. It ran on OS Mojave – or it did since my last useful upgrade. The new M2 runs on OS Monterey. The Album layout is much less easy to view and does not allow you to see anything other than the Album you are playing. Go off that album and there is nothing to identify it if you return. Switch from Albums to Songs and maybe back and forth and you have to play games to stay with the same music you started with. I could go on but just wish there was some ordinary guy out there who has noticed any of this. Someone talking ordinary everyday language who might really give a ‘Definitive Review’ which would include such ordinary little problems. Maybe even suggest an answer.

Loved the video Quin, always enjoy your take on things! One small thing, the 14 inch base model does not have better battery life than the m2 MacBook Air.

Some honest insights there indeed, although M2 is more power efficient than M1 Pro and would in fact beat the 14 inch M1 Pro in battery life, despite having a smaller battery. Having said that, if you don’t mind the extra weight and 100 bucks, base M1 Pro is still a better choice

Excellent video! When I eventually end up switching from my Touch Bar MacBook, that MagSafe cable’s gonna remain in the box. Apple should’ve put another USB-C port on other side instead of bringing back that annoying charging method
