I think it will stick with thinkpads , not as good as they used to be but as long as they are still better than everything else i guess it does not matter.

Its not a bad computer but its overpriced. What made the m1 macbook air such a great computer was that 1000 dollar price tag and you can easily find it on sale for 900 bucks on the regular or even as low as 800 bucks. Lower the base model back to 1000 bucks and its perfect

M2 MBA owner here I can’t disagree with any of your points. For many, like myself, preference (and perhaps shiny object syndrome) were the deciding factors

I recently got the M2 Air (16gb, 512gb storage) and I have been loving it! I managed to get a killer deal with the education discount on the Apple store. Not only did I get $100 off, but I got an additional $150 cash back from Apple! That made it around $1,450 which is perfect. Highly recommend for students!
