This is the best M2 MBA review I have watched. It a beautiful laptop but the worst value for money of any Macbook less than $2000. There is another YouTube channel “Constant Geekery” that did basically say the same thing but without the detailed review (he said his business would not be buying the M2 MBA because it offered such poor value for money).

Though I totally agree with this video. I’ve got a M2 air 16G RAM 512SSD and satisfied. 😉 (I just want a LIGHTER and cooler laptop than Intel based MBP 2019)

I just picked up a 14″ MBP off of eBay for $1,500. I totally agree with the points you made here and ultimately it led to a great decision in this new computer. That MacBook Air is a nice looking computer though. I also loved how light it was when I was looking at it in the store.

THANK YOU for addressing the key stability issues and how cheap that feels, along with the trackpad click feel (sound). I thought I was going crazy with how much these jiggly keys were bothering me. The rest is fantastic. And yes, the MagSafe does dip down more easily..

So the problem is the price? Yeah, Mine caused $1699 + Apple Care 😂 I already paid and just waiting for delivery so I can’t do anything but pray that it’ll be worth it for the next 5 years or so 😂

I have the m1 and playing emulated games on it is great, I was really thinking about upgrading to the m2, but I saw that Shadow of the tomb raider runs at 14 fps on the m2 lmao. So you’re paying 400 dollars more for basically the same performance than the m1, gotta love apple.

When it was first released I thought the M2 could be my next laptop. But the more and more I see and read about it I fail to see price make sense for what you get and am once again leaning to a Macbook Pro – Which are also overpriced, but atleast you get a decent(ish) computer for it… Sigh…
