Thanks for your honest review. I have an M1MacBook Air with 16 GB that works fine for me. I have been curious on the performance difference. It does not pay for me to upgrade right now but I do like the new colors and MagSafe charging.

Hey friends, do you think the base model of m2 macbook air would be enough for coding or should I upgrade the ram to 16gb. I’m an IT student and I do some tensorflow or pytorch python codes. And the second question is, is it better to upgrade the ram or ssd, due to its slower ssd on the base model? But something that bothers me is the price of MacBook air m2 with 16gb of ram and 512gb of ssd, I could buy a m1 air base model + an iPad air m1 for that pricing. Which one should I go with? The upgraded m2 air Or base model of macbook air + an iPad air.

I just bought a used M1 MacBook Air base model for 666 dollars, I don’t regret my decision it works like a charm.
