Love the SFU shots. Love the content of this channel.
I thoroughly enjoyed the ‘19 butterfly keyboard with the touchbar on my pro can’t go back to scissor switch
Definitely get a M1 Macbook Air. It’s only 850 doesn’t have the ssd issues and by the time you properly upgrade to get out of the 8gb 256 ssd issued one you might as well get a m1 macbook pro. Which gives you a way better experience than a 1800$ m2 macbook air.
You can also look for offers on marketplace or offerup, Got a brand new macbook pro m1 14” for 1200 😛
In Germany the decision is much easier as the M1 Air dropped from 1299(?)€ to about 950€ while the M2 Air launched at 1499€
bought a surface laptop 4 with 16GB ram. kill me
So… I’m asking for some advice. I would like to buy an M1 air as my all round laptop. Browsing the web, watching Youtube, do my school work, transferring photos and videos from my iphone to my mac to my external SSD, etc.
Now, I heard about Youtubers saying to upgrade the RAM, especially if you want to think longterm. I want my laptop to last me years to come so I’m rather conviced it’s maybe the best choice to upgrade the RAM and stick with the base storage. But here in my country (Belgium) a macbook air M1 with 16gb RAM is priced at €1200, while I can, thanks to my carrier, get my hands on a base model M1 air (8gb RAM) for a reduced price of € 900. What should I do? I find the €300 difference a lot for just a RAM upgrade, but if that’s almost neccesary to do so I can have a great laptop experience for years to come, I will. Otherwise a €300 save is quite major. What’s the ‘best’ or ‘smartest’ move to make?
amazing comparison and great review. marvelous.
yeah, but loans.
Thank you to LTT and Jonathan for this fantastic channel. I love how you usually use base model affordable apple products to show how it works for the everyday person.
WHY ARENT YOU USING AN LTT BACKPACK??!!? How dare you sir!
Ummm WHY IS HE NOT ROCKING A LTT BACKPACK???
Apple should start paying Jonathan because he has single handedly converted me to the apple ecosystem after never owning a single IOS product
Getting someone to use your midnight m2 mba so that you can admire its beautiful Apple design.
(Expectation)
Fingertips.
(Reality) …
Went for 16GB and 512GB in Silver, Yes I know close to price of MBP 14 inch but as a student after viewing it in person its wayy to bulky for someone with an already powerful windows pc
it’s not called ‘the USB-C generation’— it’s the donglebook generation
I know this is an Apple channel, but why is it Any better than a Windows laptop at the same price. A student who wants a great deal wouldn’t Windows be better?
4:51 Could someone please explain to me why having the SSD split amongst 2 chips would perform better than having it in 1 chip?
In my country, even the A1181 old plastic Macbook is 1k..
You sold me on my 2020 air! Just wanted to say thanks
