Greetings from China, great review ! I use a ZV-E10 as a second angle to my A7IV, it’s a pricey upgrade for a second angle but it’s gimbal friendly being so compact and light, and brings 4k120 (in June, LOL, paid upgrade in some regions apparently). Then again it’s $200 more than the S5II albeit a wider lens selection. Do you know if it has any vertical mode at all?

Great review. The ZV-E1 does indeed seem to have the solo-vlogger squarely in its sights, but also hits them in the wallet. Add a decent wide-angle prime and my eyes are watering already. Quite a performer though.

Would you say at 1080p 24fps it should not overhear for either steaming or long recording sessions. If you got 2h+ in 1080p50 I would guess at 24fps it should be rather unlimited with external battery source?

20:41 => Sony has always said that active was only using IBIS, with the 10% crop to allow for more room to play with. Only the ZV-1 (maybe another camera) was using electronic under the “active word”, and then for some reason, almost everyone started saying that active was doing electronic on all other cameras but it never did, and Sony never said it did.

Can get an R8 + Glass (whenever Canon makes quality wide lenses) for around $2200. And have a much better photo camera to boot.

The stabilizer is horrible in this camera “oven” as I see in your video, miles better is my S23 Ultra… If Sony’s customer support is as bad as I have with my Linkbuds S where they are not able to fix issues since months, I could figure out what will happen if you find an issue is this product. I will pass buying Sony products.
