Do you want a. Medal or a chest to pin it on? Still not buying a Mac lol
I love to see how you zip and unzip ur bag in middle just like I do and I care to do
As a music producer I was super excited for that side of the review but was very disappointed. 30 plug-ins is really not that many. Most productions these days have at least 30 tracks (professional studies up to 80-90) each with at least 3 or 4 plugins per track and that’s not counting groups and busses.
Just seems like they didn’t really push the computer to find its limits and instead were just repeating back highly produced lines that didn’t say much about how it actually went.
The Mac Mini would be good if you could effortlessly upgrage RAM and storage. It would be better if the power button and a couple of USB ports were on the front.
its junk! Apple is straight junk. Sry, not sry.
I’m loving this format ..Real Dope !!
Jet you seem talented but diety on a stick, preach less and this just an ad. HC do better.
Thanks for this video this is all that I needed to, from a concert media standpoint and this is the computer that I’m going to buy.🎉🎉
thumbs down. i didn’t finish the video, but wanted to provide feedback.
1:33 the video editing+ transcoding gains were similar to the next slide, but the script acted like they were different.
3:05 pack it up, car shot, buying coffee… i don’t CARE. it’s a mac and they sell a lifestyle and you’re feeding that. can’t take that shit seriously.
i don’t know what happened afterwards. i’m watching the reviewer offer a misleading narrative and buy coffee while reviewing a product that markets on lifestyle. i’m out. my trust is gone.
So you are not comparing it to an equally sized PC…
I think the size and power draw to performance is completely unmatched when it comes to the Macs as of late. Obviously you can build a more powerful PC… but that is also gonna be much bigger and much MUCH more power hungry. Having so much performance, and an excellent OS, in such a tiny box is really cool. I wish more DIY components would focus on size as well, as we have been seeing a bad trend components like GPUs just getting bigger and bigger lately.
Would love to see AMD make a mini PC with one of their high end laptop CPU’s and laptop GPU’s
Interesting that “professionals” are used synonym to “media creators”.
It looks like another Apple promo video. The comparison between ancient Intel Core i9 9900K released 5 years ago with the new M2 Pro looks… weird.
The comparison to the PC was a bit lopsided don’t you think? The photographer person was comparing the M2 Pro to an i9 9900K + RTX 2070 (12:36) which is a very outdated PC. He might as well be talking about an i9 13900K + RTX 4070.
love your gshock !
The thumbnail looks sooooo good.
When a PC and tech enthusiast, who’s entire channel revolves around the PC community mainly, completely switches to an MBP that says a lot. And over the last year or so, the video production quality has been on-point as well!
P.S props on a not so traditional review.
In the UK the base m2 pro only comes with 512gb storage. Its an extra £200 to 1TB, raising the price to £1,599. I’m also a photographer. Had the og m1 mini with 1tb. and went back to windows recently. The key problem is storage. I would say for anyone doing serious photo work with lots of projects, you need at least 2TB, and at £1,999 for this config. (Yes Apple charging £600 over base for 1.5TB), you are better off with a windows pc at £1,599+ prices. Another problem i had with the mini is if you need more space you need an external tb4 drive, which cost £££.
Also your review is bias. The photographer never did give the specs of his pc. So really the watcher can’t make an informed decision.
Plus your ‘review’ doesn’t consider performance against an equivalent priced pre-built (I know! but some people don’t have the time to build their own) tower system or sff pc.
Truth is for the use cases you promote, you really don’t need more than an i5 with say a 3060 and at least 32GB Ram. For £1,599. For that money a have a system with 4TB+ and a 3060 will be faster.
Not only was the video not about what it said in the title, but contained little useful information.
