Nowadays it’s hard to tell you are buying a phone or buying a camera. I don’t see anything new rather than a spec bump and camera quality improvements which for average users doesn’t even matter.
According to me iphone is a great product but definitely not a value for money product.

uhm is this an iphone ad? because so many times the example shots looked way better on the iPhone but still he called it a tide so it was kinda frustrating

The phones should have more than one front camera for wider selfies. I’ve seen many occasions where people wanted to take a selfie with a lot of people (birthday party, etc.) and always thought “why can’t I take a wider shot?”

My Suggestion for HDR: (APPLE iPhones)
HDR works from capturing low light and bright photos to create a balance of exposure.

But I would suggest a different method yet similar, i suggest to capture multiple JPEG/HEVC/PNG picts then to capture multiple ProRaw/Raw images as reference for the AI to process in different exposures while also capturing in different color bits such as 8/10/12 bit color and color temperature for an even more precise result.

The Camera AI should be able to learn from the users choice.

Possible Problems:
– Insufficient RAM for image processing.
– SOC and ISP overload due to AI.
– Heating problem.

Solution:
– Create a separate ROM & RAM for Image processing:
– If the device has 512GB of main ROM, then add 1GB or more where the process happens.

Congrats, really great review and honestly reflects what an all around better camera system means. I have kids and the shutter lag on Samsung Galaxy phones is really annoying and makes a lot of the photos a blurry mess unless you have loooots of light. This has been a problem since my S9+, then again S10 and s21 ultra and as you show, it remains a problem even on the s21 ultra. It makes you miss those one of a kind family moments. So finally I jumped to the iPhone 13 pro wagon this year and it’s just better for kids and moving objects like pets and busy families. Sorry Samsung but I prefer crisp photos of my kids over a nice photo of a road sign 10 km away

I’m still confused which one of them to buy?? When I looked at the images that have been taken from both phones I feel the color of your face is rich and nice in pro 13 and I want best portrait photos but still I can take the same photos from s22 then edit them from light room… I always have Samsung and change the an system is hard for me as well and I like to have pen in the phone. So my question is which one is better for portrait photos to look like it’s from professional camera lens?
