It’s obvious that the iphone won on portrait, microphone and stabilisation.

The iphone portrait was way more detailed. The microphone so much less tinny. The stabilisation retained all the detail, the Samsung when running was stable but it was a mess. The iphone was less stable but it was smooth unstable with way more detail…..

It’s stramge that in the first part of the video most of the Samsung shots SEEM unnaturally (over)colorated (of course I dont know how the real envirenment looked like). Therefore I was suprised when Arun said that Samsung photos are in general cooler. After that statement sometimes iPhones photos seem to be on the (too much) warmer side other times the Samsung ones. It is strange how inconsistent color accuracy can be with these automatic processing tools 🙁

The one thing that I love that the iPhone has over the Samsung is the Crispness. That’s always been the one thing in photography I’ve struggled with is the Crispness. The one thing that would have made the Samsung superior to the iPhone. Disappointing since I ordered the Samsung already. 12:23 and 12:54. The crispness I give to iPhone hands down.

Edit. The iPhone does have better anti-glare I noticed too. 12:04

Samsungs white balance isn’t close and they have easily took the worst route in contrast, not by increasing it, but crushing shadow more frequently to make images seem to pop more. It just looks bad and lacks polish, quite honestly. Their only strong point is zoom due to the hardware alone, otherwise not great for a phone that can cost nearly 2k.

Stabilisation for Samsung? Seriously??^^ I mean I don’t even care if the Samsung beats the iPhone but the running video clip of the samsung was so washed out and blurry, I couldn’t see anything whereas the iPhone it felt like someone was running but with their eyes wide open. You could make out a lot of detail. And many other YT agree that the iPhone beats the S22 in stabilisation.
