Samsung’s cameras are impressive, with one big fault, which may or may not be just an opinion. I think they are overly soft photos. Going too far to smooth over everything. The rocks when you did the 30x zoom comparison, before the zoom began were much more detailed on the iphone. Pores on faces are softer, yet detailed with the iphone. I want to love the S22, but I want detailed pics, not smoothed over, not realistic or as crisp as other phones. People who use filters in their selfies will love the S22 tho, cause it’ll hide blemishes or de-age you a little.

Yo I enjoyed the video but there is one crucial thing u missed and it was availability.If u didn’t notice if u cover one cameras on the iPhone 13 pro max then it will just automatically switch to another camera with the same zoom to make up for the covered camera. Meaning if u were to break one camera u would still be able to use the same zoom but on another. Which makes for more available in case of the phone falling and cracking. But I’m not sure if the Samsung does the same

True Story: I’m met up with Samsung’s department personnel for the smartphone camera tech at SDC events. I had let them that, before they got more in-depth; They just keep adapting ‘point & shoot’ tech into the phones. So other than the ability to control the aperture. They are handheld entry-level cameras to have within reach. Whether that was intentional or Samsung decided to dump their photography funding into the phones. I used it as a ‘cliff note’ to help me with minor settings like getting lighting in check along with color warmth & tint. Would have been on board to join the team, with a open invite to head out to Korea to further speak with head personnel, very pre-pandemic measures times. But I choose family’s last days to a once in a lifetime opportunity. I’m glad they at least seem like they took mine & other notes to further improve the phone’s camera tech. It does show that if you wanted to do some minor photography & video shooting; Samsung has their users covered.

Basically, if Samsung does something 10% better than iPhone then the point goes to Samsung but if an iPhone does something 10% better than a Samsung then it’s a tie according to Arun.
Yes we understand Arun that you are paid but at least make it feel look legit.

Hey @Mrwhosetheboss why are videos on S22 uktra looks blurred and lack of details in every video while comparing with iphone, S22 ultra looks very blurry pls check video again on your editing pc

The colour balance in the iPhone always disturbs me. It’s so extremely yellow.

Though the clarity on human faces of always nice, even if it often looks a little fake and oversaturated.

Galaxy takes much better images of.. stuff. Add people into it, and iphone quickly gets the advantage.

We need a combination – apples software with Samsung’s hardware
