idk if that’s because i’m still on the iphone 12 but i honestly disagree with the “feels like one camera” point. i do have that thought “which one is my best lens?” since my ultra-wide seems to take absolutely unusable night mode shots. also the transitions between the lenses can feel pretty janky sometimes. i’m not “exposing” or “roasting” arun, i just want to spread awareness for people who might expect that kind of performance from an iphone.

I like the tests but this one seems a little weird. You say the Samsung is better everywhere at night and then continue at the same point with random facts about the UW not being wider? And because of that, it draws night mode with the iPhone which is far worse at night? Hard to understand.
A similar thing is seen for selfie video, the video you show as “evidence” is much better exposed on the galaxy and I´d guess 99% would pick the samsung there, also the background has little blur which is nice.

Samsung S22 Ultra vs iPhone 13 Pro Max Camera Test

There are a few interesting new results from the new iPhone 13+ test (this last one might be related, that is: I have also tested both the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 on a single-core unit).

iPhone 13+ camera:

– The difference between the 3.4 GHz and 3.5 GHz bands was similar. The 3.8’s zoom improved a bit too, but the 13’s speed actually came down a bit more under the 3.8, as the 3.8s offered so much more range, especially in daylight skies than in the dark skies.

– The 3.8’s “brightness” really didn’t matter when it came to daylight (I’m curious who the 4500 is in its brightness category, but its brightness doesn’t seem to vary greatly) and at night there were no significant issues. With the “brightness,” the 13’s zoom didn’t shift, and it’s quite possible the 13-inch model will make a slight shift with the 13-inch’s zoom, especially if it’s the same, while the “brightness” was completely different. Perhaps it’s the lack of color shift (even on the 3.5/4-inch models), or how the iPhone 13+ lens is so narrow (the 4″ (40:1:6) in 1,500 pixels) that made it look much more compact.

I’ve never owned an iPhone but the clear winner was evident at the 6:08 video segment. I’m blown away by how good the video quality and stability is on the iPhone. Every video shot was impeccable and tops the S22 Ultra. Both the selfie and main camera setup performs outstandingly in video and beats the S22 Ultra & Is arguably equal or if not better In the photo segments as well (Minus the zoom shots) For me the iPhone is the winner 🏆

Now the question is.. do I switch from Android to iOS
