I don’t understand how you can objectively look at the front camera/selfie video comparison and say that the iPhone takes the win. The S22 produces a more detailed shot, just look around the eyes. It has better dynamic range, look at the highlights and lowlights on the face. The background is a bit washed out, but it’s selfie mode and it is accurately exposing for the subject whereas the iPhone is metering the entire image which results in a more dull result on the face.

You also called nightmode a tie; just look at 10:15. The iPhone is giving a watercolor pixelated mess when the S22 is giving a sharp, detailed, bright image; I mean you can read the name on the building with the S22, and the iPhone you’d have a hard time knowing there’s even text there to read. You knocked the S22 down in the nightmode category because it’s lenses are wider. What in the world does that have to do with the nightmode category? Needing to step closer to a subject with the S22 vs the iphone doesn’t have any impact on nightmode whatsoever.

I wish you’d be a little more objective when evaluating these things, it always seems like you skew heavily Apple.

Very interesting video having had both the 13 pro max and the samsung you can take so much better video and pictures from the samsung than the iPhone with the 108 mp lens

Does the shutter lag improves if you reduce the resolution to 8 or 12 mp? Usually this helps a lot. I would choose s22 ultra just because of Android… I don’t want to be sucked and stucked on apple’s ecosystem…

hmm i dont know maaaan. i still prefer the iphone camera setup. and i do not have an iphone. i am not biased. but these zoom features, slow motion etc just dont cut it for the majority of the people. the iphones camera is just more consistent and overall better experience. especially lagging between switching lenses.. 2022 and 1300 euros worth of a phone and its lagging when changing zoom modes? what the heck is that
