you told that physical home clicking button was first removed in iphone 7,but as far as i can remember, i found that on iphone 6s first. anyways, i am not that much sure, i might be mistaken,but yeah, the video was quite good

Lmao that old school iOS from the first few generations was the last time I used iOS until 2020 😆 I was in 7th grade when the first one came out, but I think I had the massive ipod that could hold “10,000 songs” and I had a bunch of bootleg movies and music on there lol. I think I also had an ipod 3gen and that thing was slippery AF. I dropped it in the toilet at work when I stood up because it was in my back pocket 🙃 that was maybe 2013? Haven’t owned an Apple product since, but the 6s REALLY made me consider it for like 2.5 seconds because it was super lightweight and the colors were nice. I bought one for my mom and she loved it, kept it until she upgraded to 8Plus. I use them occasionally at work to support my users (I’m an in-house systems analyst). My boss even bought our team an iPad pro so we could learn how to use it, that thing makes me feel so slow trying to figure out all the gestures and navigate without the home button.

The 11 pro was actually smaller than the 11 (a small gripe). The only reason i know if because i bought an 11 pro for the sole reason that it was smaller than the 11.

Some comments. iPhone copied the power button on the side from Samsung, who had been doing that on the Galaxy phones for a while already, and yes. I totally forgot. No copy/paste until what did you say? iOS 3? lol. That was just completely insane. TikTok would have been at a loss for stealing peoples’ clipboard data. LULZ. My journey with Apple started with the Mac when they announced that Mac OS X was rebuilt on Unix, and that was pretty much a solid journey. I only ever got Windows for gaming. You see prior to Mac OS X I ran Linux for my main machine because I just could not stand the crappiness of Windows. I had a Windows machine to game on and make music on using Logic, which is ultimately what made me switch to the Mac. I used Logic Audio Platinum on my Windows machine to make music and since they would be discontinuing the Windows version of Logic when they bought eMagic .. So that forced my hand and I’ve never looked back since.

My journey with iPhone was not quite the same.. My cousin had a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I really liked the larger screen. I had switched to it from a iPhone 4S, and then when the Galaxy Note 3 came out I switched to the Note 3, and by then I was just in love with the larger phone size. I could never go back to iPhone because they kept making really small phones. When the iPhone 6 Plus came out I was like YASSSSS! Finally a large iPhone! Then from that point I had every single iPhone Plus size except for the 7 Plus because they were out of it and I had to trade my Galaxy Note 7 in for something. Then I kept buying the Plus sizes until the X came out. I knew the X was the future it was amazing but I hated the size. Because of how it felt I bought it and I just was forced to deal with the small form factor, then the XS Max came out and that was it.. I switched away from Apple when Apple deplatformed Alex Jones. I did not support Apple’s Orwellian type censorship practices on the app store, and I still don’t.. but I had to deal with the lesser of two evils.. when the iPhone 11 Pro Max came out I bought that.. Because Apple does really care about user privacy where as Google just wants to take as much info as it can from you, 2nd to only Facebook.. and you either an iPhone … or a Google phone (even if it’s Samsung, HTC, etc. it’s still Android w/Google Play services).. So I figured you are much safer with an iPhone than Android phone.. then there’s the security etc. Android is just known to be problematic and security issues and especially when it was discovered that TikTok spies on you like crazy.

Right now I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I did not buy the 13. I boycotted it, this time, because of Apple’s anti-right to repair tactics where they made it so Face ID doesn’t work if you replace the screen. They fixed it but I made it very clear to Tim Cook in an email that I would not buy the 13 due to that at all, even if they backpedal because of backlash and then next iPhone I would buy is the 14, IF they don’t pull any anti-repair BS.. We’ll see what happens. I am tempted to go back and buy the 13 Pro Max but it’s not a priority right now coz I have lots of other things going on. I have become kind of a wise spender and not buying a new phone every year.
