I myself wasn’t too privy of iOS at the time but I did like the flat edges of the 4/S and 5/S line of iPhones when they released. I actually like how that design aspect was brought back with the 12 series and continued with the 13, even though it admittedly isn’t as hand ergonomics friendly as 11 series iPhones and older.

I remember when I was 10-11 and wanting an iPhone 3G, and being jealous of my classmates when they were flexing their iPhone 4 at lunch, now as a 23 year old I placed an order on my first iPhone, the 13 pro max version after using Android for so many years ❤

The 6 was an AWFUL iPhone tbh. Battery was shit , dysfunctions extremely quick when a new software update came up to the point you were forced to buy the new one. Cheap screen and the bend issue , crazy how it sold so many units. Thing was so disappointing and should have never got the success it saw

I worked for Telus in Canada when the iPhone first launched on their network in 2009, all the way up to 2015. I worked every iPhone launch and watched as the design changed over time and this video was an amazing retrospective, thank you! And of COURSE I would love to see and Android version. Working at a phone shop while these two OS’s went head to head in their early days was awesome, all the weird shit that came out of it.
