i remember getting my iphone 4s. i thought it was the coolest thing and would last forever (the battery did not, lol). also not to mention how easily the front & back shattered. but it’s crazy to see where iphones – and phones in general – have gotten. i got the galaxy flip z 3 a couple weeks ago: insane.

It kind of bothered me that on the iPhone 1, he complained it had no App Store so you had to use this native apps. Ummm…NOBODY had an App Store. It didn’t exist. Every cell phone at the time came with its own native apps and that was all she wrote. The iPhone apps were way more animated and vivacious than the competition. And he didn’t even mention the safari browser which was the first mobile browser to give you full desktop browsing capabilities. And if you’re gonna say Opera was, Opera wasn’t letting you scroll through a page like you could on your desktop. It was slow, laggy, and you needed the directional pad of your phone to navigate through hyperlinks. It was awesome for my Sony Ericcson K920, but that Safari browser was chef’s 😚

At that point, I had to skip the video because he ruined what I thought could’ve been an awesome video. Such a shame.

A lot of companies made iPhone 6 their work phone of choice. That could be why the big jump in sales. Not only that but interest from people having androids and getting iPhones at work and conversion that way. I wonder if Apple ever marketed to companies for this reason?

I had the original iPhone, iPhone 3, 5 and I still have my 6plus. By far best phone. No problems with it. I’ve dropped it hundreds of times (with a case) but I feel it is definitely one of apple’s best phones. However, I’m stuck with 64MB and can barely keep all my apps much less get new ones. Now I have saved money for the 13 and so excited for the terabyte storage. Hopefully next month I will buy it and get a new 16 MacBook max that just came out maybe for Christmas (been waiting a over decade for a new Apple laptop-2009 MacBook Pro). I will be so sad to say bye to my 6plus though.

I think Apple is really leaning into the base / Mini / Air / Pro scheme. I wouldn’t be surprised if the iPhone SE turns into the iPhone Mini at some point, and the 12-inch Macbook comes back. It’s the Steve Jobs quadrant all over again, and I think that works.
