The iPhone 4 was my first iPhone. I loved it until I experienced how liberating android was and didn’t end up upgrading to the iPhone 5. Been on android since then.

Not really an Apple guy, but definitely not an Apple hater either. To put it into numbers, I got my first smartphone in 2010, a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. Yeah, I previously had the Nokia N97, but that barely qualifies as a smartphone, due to the resistive touchscreen and Symbian not being optimized for touch use. Since then, I’ve only owned two iPhones (5s and 12 Pro). I usually upgrade every 2 years. Each year we see an increase in performance, RAM, storage, and hopefully battery capacity or at least battery life, generally speaking. The one thing I hope they stop increasing is screen size. In the Android realm, to get the best specs (on paper) you need to go balls to the wall and get the variant with the biggest screen. I still use my Samsung Galaxy Note9 as a secondary phone. When I upgraded last year, two years with the 6.4 inch Note9 made me realize that it was too big and too heavy for me. When the iPhone 12 lineup was announced, I looked up the specs and found that the iPhone 12 Pro Max was roughly the same size as the Note9. With a bigger 6.7 inch screen due to the almost bezel-less design, but still… So I went with the 12 Pro, which is such a joy to use at 6.1 inches. I’d love to see the iPhone 14 lineup drop the notch, but I sure hope the screen of the Pro model stays at 6.1 inches. I would also love it if they managed to eliminate the camera bump, as some rumors say. Basically, I got the 12 Pro last year because the top of the line Android flagships were to big for me, and I loved the iPhone 5s so much. Eliminating the camera bump on the iPhone 14 would make it even more similar to the 5s. If Apple screws up, I’ll just go back to Android. I’m OS agnostic. If it does the job, I’ll buy it. Perhaps in one years’ time, foldables will have evolved enough for me to buy one.

PS: I’m a fan of the Galaxy Flip, not the Fold 🙂

32:10 That’s such BS… Look at your scale lmao 😂. If it was 0 – 1000 on the x (and the y wasn’t = 2 times the x) then the jump in price would actually show how significant it is.
.
But you doubled the scale (for fun?). So sure it doesn’t look bad (with that horrid representation) but it’s a 33% increase (best guess from reading your graph). Which would be like calling the jump from a $2,700 to a $3,600 not big….
