Got the iPhone 12 mini in the beginning of ’21. Still awesome. Loved my iPhone 4S, 5 and first SE. Fall again in love changing my XS to 12 mini. It’s awesome. For “bigger things” I got my M1 Air – also just freaking productive.

At 14:42, my first phone was a standard 6 and I still remember taking off my case one day and realizing, “oh shit, my phone screen is sticking out, and it’s bent”. Next day we go to the Apple store, free phone bc the battery was puffy bc Apple had a quality program to replace 6’s with puffy batteries.

I miss 3D touch so much. I still have an 8 and switching is going to be so so hard. The new versions of iOS aren’t playing as well with 3D touch as it used it and its getting really annoying.

I think the notch will not go away because of Face ID unless they can get the sensors behind the glass. No hole punch phone has a Face Id as secure. Once they can go underneath the display, then I can see Android phones using a very secure face ID like Apple. The tech is just not there yet to remove the notch. It will eventually. I am sure they are working on it.
