28:10 It is very easy for reviewers to say “Chargers will not be there in the box of a $1200 new smartphone” Bcause ofcourse they can afford it but just think from a consumer’s standpoint and it just seems like all reviewers(including MKBHD) is just giving the company a pass and approval for doing all this sh*t.

And let’s be frank if they cared this much about environment then y didn’t they gave *type-c* in the box.

I am surprised that you did not call out the debut of MagSafe, on the 12 series! Especially since most/all of the hardware additions/changes across the versions got a call out. Great video though!

The first iphone (2g) was not priced $500, couse you needed 2 years contract to get it for $500. So the price of the next iphones was droped. Years later you got the iphone 6 or 7 for $600 without a contract. So the price of the iphone X for $1000 was at the time the same as the first iphone (2g) if you calculate the contract that you needed to pay for 2 years plus $500. You’re welcome!

some 3rd party apps have been with me since my first one in 3gs. the log on those apps dates back to 2009. eg whatsapp and ookla speedtest

The price needs to be adjusted for inflation, one should also note that apple has added more and more tech per year into the iPhone, so the price hike each year has to reflect that too.

I don’t have exact numbers but saw an inforgraphic taking into account inflation, and showed that prices were higher but not doubled the first iPhone high. I saw another infographic on the tech consideration and again apple has been losing profit margins per phone for quite some time. It’s one of the reason they’ve been building out their services business so much.

Switching from the 8+ to the 12 Mini was fckin fantastic. The screen really is the same size if not bigger.

Also 12 mini is the best iPhone made since the 5s
