The most nostalgic iPhone for me is the 6s, Bought it new in early 2016, ran like a dream on iOS 9. Unfortunately didn’t keep it long, wish I didn’t trade it in for the 7 plus in 2017.

My favorite recent iPhone is tied between the 13 pro 6.1 in Sierra Blue or the iPhone 11 Pro in midnight green. The 13 pro and 11 pro Mostly my favorites in terms of feel and color choice. Also their ridiculous capabilities right out of the box.

Any chance we see an M1 iPhone? I know the chip is made for the MacBook but with it in the iPad Pro would it be unrealistic to see it it an iPhone? If so, that’s the next name for their “bigger” iPhone

I hope the iPhone 14 has 3d touch!! I am still on the xs just because of that feature. Using the keyboard without it just isnt the same!

Great video. To answer your questions: There’s only one place to go on the naming, +, Max, Pro, got to be the ‘C grade’ (but they already kind of did that in a different context). On shooting similar video’s, how about a Galaxy ‘S’ start to current. Arun (Mr Whostheboss) did a great one a couple of years ago – your updated take on this might be fun.

There’s an honestly concerning amount of inaccuracies in this video considering it’s from MKBHD.
9:22 iOS 7 wasn’t even announced until two years after then!
10:12 The 5 was lighter than the 4S, so…
11:44 Why is there a shot of the 4S in the 5s segment?
16:48 The 6s also runs iOS 1S, so the SE isn’t the oldest running it.
23:28 I know all the sheep say this, but the XR was 828p, not 720p.
24:02 The 11 Pro was smaller than the 11!

Couple nitpicks:

Apple didn’t make the bumper case because of antenna gate. They already had the bumper case. They just offered it for free as a mea culpa.

The iPhone 5 actually had a more annoying “gate” for me, because some of them came out of the box with scratches on the side. It’s also the first time that Apple abandoned all logic in their naming habits. It was the sixth iPhone. It should have been called the iPhone 6. That way, we wouldn’t have had people whining about how the iPhone 13 should have been named an iPhone 12S.

The 5.8″ iPhone did NOT have a larger screen than the 5.5″ iPhone 6-8 Plus. The screen diagonal might have been bigger, but the screen surface was actually smaller. I might be wrong, but I remember you pointing this out in one of your iPhone X videos.
