Small correction: iPhone SE is not the oldest still supporting iOS 15. The 6s/6s Plus is. It runs on the 6s/Plus (extremely well, at that).

still have my iphone 2G while all my friends at school was using 6s and stuff i was using 2G lmfao until like after i left school and got a 4s and then later down the line i got a 6S and then recently got a iphone 11

Listen Marques as a long time off and mostly on subscriber since the Galaxy Nexus videos many many years ago, please clean the dirt from the phones next time, haha. It’s so unlike you to have nice close ups of grimy dirt filled crevices on your phones. I can understand the scratches and the wear and tear but you are killing me. Loved some nostalgia here with the iPhone though.

My first iPhone was my dad’s old 5s, then my first new IPhone was a 6s+, then I waited until the 11’s dropped and bought an 11 pro max that im using as of the writing of this comment, and i placed an order (but waiting a month because of the pandemic’s backlog) for the new 1600$ iPhone 13 Pro Max with 1TB of storage. Looking forward to actually being able to have multiple (10+) games downloaded at once and still have room for all my files and pictures. I ALMOST waited for the new surface duo 2 phone from Microsoft but decided based on the horrible reviews of the first one and the fact I would lose so much leaving apple’s ecosystem that it wasn’t worth it. Unless something significant changes i guess ill just always be an apple phone guy.

Great video as always man it was fun looking back through the history and the memories.

I had the 4S (shared with my dad), the 5S (bought for myself), 6, 7 Plus, and now the X. I really loved every phone I have owned from apple, but I wish they kept 3D Touch though. It’s so weird looking at new phones and seeing it missing.

That’s the beauty of the free market. You can charge whatever you want. How consumers respond is the next thing. I’ll never understand why people bash Apple for high prices. A lot of people buy their stuff and that’s all that matters.

This might not interest everybody but…The iPhone 4S was the first phone to be able to actively switch between using the top or bottom antenna depending on which had the stronger signal, developed as a first for the mobile industry and as a response to the antenna gate of the iPhone 4. That antenna design has lasted on every iPhone since, until the introduction of the 5G antenna window on the iPhone 12.

The iPhone 5S is even more incredible for pulling down every other smartphone SOC manufacturer’s pants in public by unveiling their first ever 64 bit SOC in a mass-market phone, when Qualcomm was busy planning for a transition to 64-bit architecture a couple of years down the line. A Qualcomm exec made a public response along the lines of “it’s a gimmick” and was eventually reassigned to a new role for it!

The iPhone 4s came out with iOS 5, not 7, that would have been a huge jump if true. I also still have a 4s on iOS 9, I might downgrade it to iOS 6 at some point.
