For those that are asking, the 16 inch MacBook Pro does have a speaker issue, but it’s software related. According to Macrumors, Apple is working on a software update for it. Link: https://www.macrumors.com/2019/12/06/apple-plans-fix-16-inch-macbook-pro-popping-sound/

My 16″ Mac set up: 2.3Ghz 8-core i9 intel processor 9th generation, 32G of RAM, 2TB Storage.
Results:
– Less than 2h battery life watching movies
– this Mac heat as I never saw (actuallysame as the 15.4″), I really thought (first time I touched it) that I was going to burn myself
– watching movies into a parallel VM it’s just crazy how it’s lagging, for a 32G of RAM and 8G dedicated for the VM I was really expecting better results, but no, it’s really bad
– for the good things I will say, the keyboard is really better than the previous model, the audio is super good for a laptop, probably the best I ever heard on a laptop.
To sum up: super too expensive for what it is. The ratio price vs. quality vs. performance is not present at all, I’m really disappointed by this product

Think you are the only reviewer actually cares about 2:1 pixel mapping. I am the same here that crisp sharp texts. Currently set my resolution to 1440×900 on 15 inch.

I ordered the 16″ MBP the day it was announced… It’s sitting right next to me…. I’m still watching videos about the 16″ MBP, weeks later. I do not understand why…..

Good review. Im totally 100% with you on true 2:1 resolution. I think it’s a disservice to the screen to do those virtual resolution renders…. the pixels are not landing flush that way. Ideally every app would allow you to scale the UI size the proper way without changing resolution so you could still free up realestate. A few apps do it. Thank you Visual Studio code.

Worst case scenario: This is why it is important to be proactive in life-to know what you can to if you break something. This is actually one of the biggest risk you take when you buy and invest in stuff, everything can break. Like for instance: Peter Petersen buys an fully fledged Mac book Pro for videoediting. He finishes his editing in 3 days and has to send it to a company called “Bestcompany” which will earn a profit of 10.000 $ using the same video that Peter Petersen made. An hour before he sends the video he falls of his boosted board with all his bagequipment including the Macbook Pro and everything totally breaks. The video is never sent, but Peter Petersen somehow thinks he had a SD card in the laptop, but realizes Apple removed that in newer models and start praying to to god. (Praying does not fix anything) The company that was supposed to use the video for its own promotion in an add falls a week behind in that particular sale mission the video was meant for – and a week is a big problem for the company because there are several other companies making a similar sales products like “Bestcompany”. Another competing company called ” Upandcoming” Get the chance to have the best promotion of an add this week and “Bestcompany” loses an excessive amount of money because their ads are the main reason for gaining profits and the “Upandcoming” company, is ranking up among tge orher highest ranking companies in the worl. The point is that a small portion of bad luck with technology can lead to fallout 😅 A little bit wirse than a Rolex though, unless Casey lost all his money after breaking the watch, which means he could not have sold the rolex to save his situation. These examples are rear, but everything can happen in this fast pacing world of economy. …🤭🤭

I’m okay with camera and some other minor negatives you pointed out.
I think it’s great with new keyboard- new battery size – 512 storage and 16 ram . Finally
Now they need to fix the 13”

Man, I tolerated the butterfly keyboard but ever since I started using the 16″, the butterfly keyboard feels so bad and I just appreciate the 16″ so much more. Ugh!
