I always remember that Tim Cook is extremely focused on health. I guess Apple Watch was the moment they realized that Apple products can become such life changing objects, to the point that since health is so major in our life that it would soon feel crazy to not use these devices to monitor it. So I do believe the satellite feature is coming and that it’s only the beginning. I feel like Apple wants to expand their health features beyond the watch from now, with the rumored heartrate tracking in AirPods. I bet future Apple Glasses will be full of neat health related features as well.

I really don’t think the iphone 14 will have a satellite feature, unless its alot thicker. A satellite phone is so big because cause of components and have an antenna to ping the satellite. If thats the case then the iphone 14 should have full service at all times then. Because they would need to include another set of bands for GSO.

5G is no faster than LTE in a lot of places where I live. I actually get faster speeds when I turn it off sometimes. But when the UW hits the network holy shit, it’s almost faster than my gigabit home internet. But I’m moving to Coachella Valley where Verizon 5G is complete trash and it’s been said it’s still the best network for the area IF you turn off 5G. Kind of surprising, it’s a pretty populated area. My point is 5G, unless you’re on 5GUW it’s not really anything to brag about and Apple seems to think it’s a promotable benefit.

If Apple will redesign the iPhone 13 series with the USB Type-C port, then I will consider upgrading from my iPhone SE 2016. Why? Because I love small and compact phones and I want the 13 mini!
And if ever the iPhone mini is really gone for the 14 series, I hope it makes a come back in the future.
