Remember the new 2022 Apple Watch SE according to MacRumors will have the S6 chip in it. So, since we know the AW6, AW7 and now the AW8 all have the same chipset (just renamed), All Apple Watches will be running the same chipset. I have the AW6 Cellular so I’m not upgrading until we get a new chipset or a glucose sensor, whichever comes first.

if you raise the apple watch price and the iphone, than people are naturally not gonna wanna upgrade which means less money for them, and the iphone 14 is gonna fail!

I guess Apple hates customers like me, upgradees iPhone every 5 to 6 years.

iPhone 12 Pro user will upgrade to iPhone 17 or 18.

Previous phone before the 12 pro was the 6s.

Loved the little “money” animation of Apple execs when you started talking about the new $999 Apple Watch. lol 😂

So I really don’t wanna pay that much for the Apple Watch! I may be interested in that supposed new form factor but I don’t know about paying that much. So I will probably go for the regular model (likely with cellular this time though), which is still quite good and a great upgrade (for me) coming from a Series 3 GPS model. Sooo. lol 😂

If it does get confirmed, a lot of people will keep their devices in a long term. Apple’s revenues will flop. For me speculating, Apple may also might increase the trade in value just to get us our hands on a new device.

You don’t have to buy the $1000 Apple Watch or the $1500 maxed out iPhone pro max. They have lower priced options. Also, they have had $1000+ apple watches for years: the Hermès apple watches. The titanium watches are around $800 too. You can buy these much cheaper on the used market, especially the older ones. A titanium series 5 Apple Watch may be the best bargain for a non-aluminum Apple Watch.
