Does anyone know what track plays at around 7mins?
This video is missing a dbrand sponsor
Did anyone else think the M1 speakers sounded better?
Great speaker and webcam use in this video. Clever and informative
oh no not $200 more. cant hate apple, its 40% inflation adjusted pricing
Great review Dan! Was really informative and a good pace!
what kind of watch are you wearing 👀
Verge aint same without Dieter.
Feel better, Monica!
You might want to update your benchmark slides. There is no “M2 Pro” chip out yet. I assume that is meant to be the “M2 MBP 13”. That will likely just confuse general consumers. Cheers.
I never ever notice the notch on my mbp *shrug*
Base model M1 Air or 14″ base model pro – the best options, anything in between, doesn’t make sense, especially when you upgrade RAM or storage.
Just got to say that I have had the M1 Macbook Pro for about a year now and have been absolutely blown away by the performance. It has never struggled to do anything. Future of computers is Apple.
PLEASE tell me what the calendar app you have on your menu bar is
i would not recommend 8GB of RAM to a single person besides perhaps my 70 year old grandma who would almost never use the computer and would only have one tab open at a time.
it is way too easy and frequent for macOS to dip into memory swap which will age your SSD at a significantly faster rate and dip performance. That’s with TODAYS OS and applications. It only going to get worse as time goes on.
Do not buy 8GB of RAM
base recommended config for anyone would be 16GB RAM 512GB SSD.
lower config is only for people who simply cannot afford the above recommendation
Typo for the bar chart presented: M1 Pro…
So I suggest you wear a glove everytime you’re using it.
He’s using my wallpaper! ❤️
Tbh, If you’re looking at the Air chances are you’d be just fine with a M1 Air. I still thank that is the best value macbook Apple make. This upgrades are nice but ultimately not really worth upgrading for. If you need something more than an Air I’d say the next best upgrade or middle ground would be a 14” M1 Pro base model. At that point you’re getting a vastly superior screen, speaker, mic, cpu and GPU, battery life and IO selection of ports, it’s still really portable too. I’ve seen a few sales on the 14” model, it really comes down to what you’ll be using it for. If you don’t do any graphic intensive tasks the M1 Air will still be more than enough for most, and you can find them for less than what apple sells them for.
2022 tech woohoo
