Amazing review and thanks so much for the sound samples page, for us audio nerds that´s incredibly apreciated! (i love that you can move the time where the clips are being played to compare the same part of the song) My favorites were the Sony 1000XM4, Galaxy Buds Pro, Airpods Pro 2 and Sennheiser CX Plus (all of them having a more natural and “balanced” sound to my ears.

WOW what an awesome video. You can literally hear the difference no matter what speaker you play this on. Good job. Not revolutionary better but the gen 2 is definitely an improvement and if the noise cancellation is better then its a worthy upgrade for sure. Mind that these last about 2 years depending on usage. That’s not to say that they break but the battery doesn’t hold as much of a charge and eventually gets to a point where you are sick of charging them that often and you almost have to get a new pair. If the next update to airpods pro is again in 3 years then you may get them to last you that long but it will be tough. You have been warned. And if Apple really cares about the environment they can totally design them to make the battery replaceable. It is such a waste. They dont break easily otherwise. That’s is planned obsolescence and we all lose except from Apple.

The thing I’m.really wanting to know if they still have that totally crap way to update the buds. Hopefully they addressed that beacuse paying almost 300$ in Sweden for a pair of buds that is a pain in the ass to update it’s not good marketing at all.

Hey thanks for the review as always and you are one of the best.. but i couldn’t tell any difference between the anc on the 2 while listening on airpods pro v1. I am curious how you record the sound to show the difference? Also, one thing you could add to your reviews that is less important is range that the headphones work at. although i am mainly here about anc reviews. . Either way I have a pair of the v2 airpods pro on order… Bummer is that it will not arrive until October 3 to 10… thanks apple! I know if I lived in California the arrival would be weeks earlier.. as my son changed his order after accidentally putting Alaska in as address and it showed tracking for way earlier..
One last question.. i am curious what part of the world do you live in?

I had the first gen and I was really disappointed. Sound quality is highly overrated.
Now I’m happy with my Sony WF-1000XM4.
