gen 2’s sounded like the “excited” eq for sony xm4 earbuds, whereby gen 1’s feel like the stock eq imo. Also the Airpods pro felt so light you barely feel anything in ur ears.

I think it would have been better compared to the AirPods 3rd gen. Of course, although the 3rd gen AirPods don’t have noise canceling, The pure sound quality comparison seems to have been meaningful. AirPods Pro 1st Generation Are Too Old Earbuds. but thanks for your video. In fact, it was to be expected that the sound quality would not have been significantly improved. That’s because Apple still sticks to the AAC codec on AirPods. It doesn’t support LDAC, and Apple’s lossless codec, ALAC, also doesn’t support AirPods Pro 2.

I still have the originals but I wouldn’t mind upgrading if the prices in Europe weren’t so high. Personally i think its worth buying just for the volume control feature alone. I still don’t understand why they didn’t implement it in the 1st version. Great test….
