I got them and they really do sound better than Gen 1. Just a fuller, punchier, clearer sound in general. They are also cheaper than other in-ear ANC buds like Bose.

I’ve had the originals since they came out, they sound good, but honestly the wired ones sound better, especially with lossless. But i got the gen 2 last Sunday and I’m in love. The sound is so much richer and fuller, and that’s without lossless support. I hope they find a way to support lossless somehow with an update, but I’m not holding my breath for that.

Gen 2 is much more crisp then gen 1. I had to get beats fit pros to enjoy a better quality 😣.

Gen 1 delivers more detailed sound so it has higher resolution and, therefore, better music quality. Louder bass does not mean better sounding music, it is just punching your head harder with a little surplus of pleasure
