Won’t buy an Apple laptop until they’re able to manage their cooling properly. Writing these words on a mid 2014 13″ MB Pro with a dent body. 😛

I think if you are willing to buy an 899$ laptop, you have no problem upgrading and paying for a 1799$ one.

Great review and my 2016 MBP 15’’ is still running like new but I agree with you that Apple needs to redesign their chassis to stay cooler. I also have the Razer 15’’ with 2060 gpu and that thing is a beast, stays quiet in AAA games. But we all know this was done intentionally to fail their new i9 9th gen cpu 2020 MBP 16’’ to boost market their ARM MacBooks. Just open your 16’’ MBP and checkout the heat pipes, it’s a engineering joke.

YOU NEED TO BRING UP THE ISSUE WHERE ALL 2020 MACBOOKS GET INSANELY HOT WHEN HOOKED UP TO AN EXTERNAL MONITOR!!!! Just type in on google, “macbook pro gets hot when hooked up to external monitor” thousands of forms of people having this problem including me. The GPU uses 5w when not connected and then when connected it goes to 15w and stays there. Major flaw in design that apple needs to fix immediately. Literally had my new almost specced out 16in macbook pro shut off from getting too hot.
