It’s a great phone but without the monthly updates, it’s a deal breaker. They are only giving bi-monthly updates which is not done

For years I’ve thought of tech YouTubers as somewhat of a rather independent reviewer. But it’s amazing how this video shows it all. I find it hard that it’s not sponsored at all. He literally said it looks exactly like an iPhone (besides the lights in the back) and have the specs of a 200 pound android device. Yet somehow he’s making it sound like the best phone ever with claims regarding ‘his employees’ guesses’ and ‘it should feel fast for an ordinary user’. I absolutely feel that the flagships these days aren’t worth the price or are as innovative as before, nor will I purchase one because it’s just not good value and have redundant features like 8k videos for my use, I still cannot believe this nothing phone actually stired up all those unbelievably positive feedbacks from people like dave2d, mr who’s the boss and others, people that I once thought were somewhat independent. I guess what they say is true. Pinch of salt and stuff. Utterly disappointed and disgusted nonetheless.

Although I think it’s an interesting phone I really was put off but its smug marketing. The problem is this video tells us not to compare it to an iPhone but perhaps a more mid-level phone but the marketing for Nothing is clearly pushing the idea that this is comparable to an iPhone.
