As for now, it doesn’t sell me yet besides the aesthetic and the no chin display. But I’m so interested to see where this company is going years later cus I have a feeling they can do more than this in the future with more refined phone and everything.

Gotta admit that the nothing phone is suprisingly looking very modern and futuristic in contribution to the iPhone camera design with of course the additional lights at the back of the phone as MKHBD has discussed before.

I see it as an opposition to ‘flagship killers’. Those phones take flagship specs and cut every possible corner to lower the price. This one instead leaves the flagship design and features but at a cost of worse SOC than competitors. And truth be told there is market for both of these. And in this sense no, it does not compete with other especially Chinese brands. Its main competition will probably be Samsung, which usually just does what apple does but later and worse.

What about lack of Google support on it like Google protect system? And ironically, how are you suppose to protect this phone from daily impacts? There is Nothing good about exposed glass😅

Isn’t one of the main selling features of the Nothing phone the user serviceability? The back comes of easily compared to big brands and the parts are mostly replaceable. Most importantly, the battery. And the software updates won’t deliberately affect the battery usage like Samsung and Apple. For someone like me works from home, so I use my PC for all internet related things. I just want a decent quality phone that will do smart phone thing quickly on the rare occasions I use those features. And I don’t wanna pay through the arse for it.
