these guys pulled off a cheap trick by pretending to be apple. they are selling overpriced accessories for the phone seperately. should have been like OnePlus where they gave a charger and a clear case.

Android companies aren’t innovating and Apple is gold standard. Sure Apple is good phone but the innovation is mostly coming from Android companies only. Apple is mostly playing safe by providing incremental upgrades only.

I think the Nothing phone should have a higher quality side (like a pro) that is maybe in a 500-600 dollar price range .

I think the LEDs on the back are fun and could be usefull. I often put my phone face-down on a table (in case something drops on it) since the screen hovers above the surface due to the silicone case. If it were charging, i could see from a distance, at a glance, how much the phone is charged. Furthermore, i find myself in situations where i need just a little bit more light to take a picture, but the flash is actually too bright or ruins the mood of an image. Plus it sets it apart. Now, i’m not about to pay 50% more for a phone that is not better than my current Xiaomi phone, but i appreciate the effort.

Phones generally only last 12 months. We need to eather make them less flashy. As there pritty much disposable items. And most people put a cover on anyway. Or upgradable. With modular everything. £300 isnt to bad though I could never pay a thick end of a grand for a phone. For somthing with a side by side every day difference of verry little.

I think you’re wrong about the lighting system, not just a party trick. When you decide you want NOTHING to do with your phone screen, it has you covered. It’s good for reducing screen time, because you won’t get sucked into your phone by looking at the Lock Screen. It’s a clear distinction in your subconscious.
